I'm not a big fan but I am very impressed with this kid now. The movie was well crafted and the 3D was just enough. go see it.

What makes this movie special is that the original characters/actors stayed with it! We've aged with them and feel a real attachment to them. While the run time is rather long, that bond we've formed keeps us 'enchanted.'
