Dark & complex with more depth than magic

As the series matures so has it ability to depend on the fundementals of script, acting and subtle cinemetography and less on special effects and humor. The three main characters demonstrate the necessary increased maturity while retaining their core characters without needing to be childish in doing so.
The neice that I took as a child to the earlier movies was not ready for a childrens movie this time and was not dissappointed.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
