Not worth the price of admission on regular version...nope. Nothing stands out, its not horrible, but it isn't good either. If you wasted money on the IMAX or IMAX 3-D...sorry you really wasted your money there. Not a worthy successor to the first film at all, which was an okay movie, hands above this sequel though.
Pros special efx okay not great
Cons slow, poor story development, poor character development
No, I do not recommend this movie.

For an action film Olympus earns its stripes...yes, you must suspend your disbelief now and again, after all its an action film, yet one worthy of the genre. Gerard Butler really hits the mark as Manning, much better suited to hard hitting action rather than sappy romance/comedy. I think Melissa Leo as Sec of Def had more balls than the whole cast...but that's just me :P. Definitely a must see if you appreciate the genre. If you go in expecting anything other than what it is, save your money and watch Twilight...now that's where one must suspend more than just disbelief...LOL!
Pros well paced, action film worthy of genre, nice ensemble cast
Yes, I recommend this movie.

You can't walk into a movie like this with high expectations...so I didn't. I did expect a better performance by Sly however. BttH fails to live up to any expectation of being a good way to kill 1.5 hrs or being out the price of admission/popcorn....although the popcorn was very good, and in all fairness the ticket cost was $5 :). Still, as a Sly fan, this was a non-starter from beginning to end...I should mention the projector broke prior to showtime and it was late starting nearly 20 minutes...it was an omen I failed to heed.
Cons slow, story failed to deliver, poorly developed characters, dialogue falls flat
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This is the action movie of the year, it delivers a knock out punch from opening sequence to final credits. You really get a well rounded storyline and well formed characters. They did here what they lacked in Expendables, you won't be disappointed. Statham delivers, but so do they all. This is a shouldn't miss it on the big screen action flick. Well worth the treck to the midnight pre-screen! I'll be down front a few more times to be sure. :))
Pros well paced, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I am not a huge fan of the comic/movie genre in general, however one comes along now and then worth a look see and this is one of them. I never watched the original Iron Man's, Thor, or Hulk...so this was my 1st look at them. I did see Cpt. America more for the period work rather than the comic aspect though, which is why I went. That said, I think this was smartly cast, and their snarky dialogue did a good job of making this a fun movie to watch. I do say that Loki was by far the best of the bunch and stole the show for me.
Pros well paced, great dialogue
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I have been a Phan since it began, and will continue well into the future. This is however, NOT my favorite performance of Phantom, but it is a nice homage to a great musical production. It is a good production if you have never experienced it live though, because its better than nothing. The Broadway production of Phantom at the Majestic puts this one to shame in every regard, if you haven't seen it, you are truly missing an incredible production. Ramin gave a nice performance, however he is far better suited to the role he was originally cast, Raoul. Hadley is hands down far better suited to play Erik, but was sadly relegated in this production to Raoul. Sierra gave a good performance, but not the best of the Christine's by any stretch.
Pros great story
Cons not the best production, miscast for several roles
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I have been an admirer of Jason Statham since his diving days prior to his big screen foray. If you loved his early British films like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels...and his Transporter films...then buckle up and enjoy this latest high octane ride. Jason does what he does best...if you don't like that about him, well then skip this one. Statham always delivers, regardless of the script. He makes my engine purr, and well, I'm good with that. He's unpretentious, straightforward, and all around good guy that happens to make great action films...enjoy them for what they are. I recommend this film to anyone who just wants to get the bang for your buck you deserve...and if he doesn't make your engine purr...well I won't hold that against you...:)))
Pros well paced, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.
