Disappointment if you've read the book

I was SO ready to love this movie and found myself feeling progressively disappointed as it went on. I realize things have to be changed sometimes or things left out, but this was extreme. The part that seemed the most odd was after he kills Voldemort. In the book, everyone is cheering and rushes around Harry to hug or touch him. In the movie, people barely glance up as he walks in after killing Voldemort. Even Ginny, who was hysterical with grief when she thought he'd been killed, just looks up and nods. Very odd. I've read all the books 3 x and some of them 4 x. I've seen all the other movies more times than I can count. This is the only movie I was disappointed by. The acting was superb as usual and there were parts I really enjoyed such as Snape's past memories, but like similar reviews from those who've read the books multiple times and felt too much was changed, I agree. All the books are far superior to the movie, but especially when it comes to this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

More than I hoped for

Very intense scenes for small children. Lots of close-ups. This movie is amazing with lots of "big screen" scenes that have to be seen in a movie theater. Lots of action, but always interesting personal scenes. A great family movie if you have children 10 or older.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
