After Half-Blood Prince, I was concerned

. .. but this movie was so much better than that one. I thought they did a good job in following the book - I just re-read it a couple of weeks ago - and the stuff that was left out didn't mess up the story. The ending was abrupt but after thinking about it, that was the only place it could have been stopped. Rupert Gint is finally coming into his own and he did a great job. I loved the animation when the 3 Sons was read in the Beadle and the Bard. And the effects when Ron was imagining Harry and Hermoine together was surreal and great. I am so glad that the same director is doing the 2nd half. I just hope that the movie is released in regular IMAX - my son and I can't do 3-D - we both get splitting headaches. I hope that the studios realize that there are a lot of people out here who don't think that 3-D is wonderful.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
