Great adaptation of the book

Common sense says read the book first, the characters are so deep in this series it helps build them. As in most movies, 2 hours doesn't cover that. The actors did a wonderful job to bring out the depth, the script was well written and for a movie that is nearly 3 hours long....it doesn't drag as mch as you would think. WARNING, this is a dark movie with some extreme tones. But overall, they did a wonderful job and I would highly reccomend this to action and suspense fans.

Great story!

If you go to this movie thinking its going to be 300 like some of the reviews I have seen, stay home and rent the same movie over and over. This movie has great special effects like 300, but that is the end of the things in common. The story has depth and is very good. The fight scenes are great, and the story moves quickly. Whether you like mythology or not, this is a great movie to go see

Decent Return to Real Movies for Murphy

The movie was funny, it had a great cast and a good storyline. If you want a good laugh, its good enough. It was nice to see Murphy back in a comedy role that isn't a kids movie.

A lot like the old ones, bad ending

If you liked the first two, you will enjoy this one too. There are some good parts that will keep you on your toes and anticipating what is going to happen next. Again, thats what a movie like this is all about. The ending was horrible. The commercials show the best parts, but its certainly worth going to see. I can't imagine that this will be nearly as good as a rental.
