As someone who has read the entire series I felt this movie very true to the last book. Although there is less action and less theatrical effects it is the story which is to take the center of importance. Some viewers may miss scenes from Hogwarts and this is definitely a darker more somber movie which is exactly as the book is told - dark times and not a lot of happiness and a great amount of fear. Looking forward to the final movie and yet will be sad when it is over!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
