Why add new things...

So, I have been an avid fan of Harry Potter since the first book and I have generally loved all of the movies. My one comment about the last two movies is that many important things were cut out and then things that weren't in the books were added. I would prefer they stay true to the movies instead of changing the stories with new scenes. The destruction of the Burrough in HBP that seemed to never happen when you see it again in TDH and the waitress scene in the diner were both unnecessary. Also, why is there this new romantic tension with Harry and Hermione both with the dance and the "virtually nude" locket scene. David, this is not Equus. It seems like Yates is a little obsessed with the "sexualizing" of these characters as he explained as his reasoning for the waitress scene.
I hope there is a return to the book in the final movie and no more sexually charged additions by Yates. These stories are too good to have important things left out and extraneous items added by a writer and director.
