I'm a big fan of Pixar. This movie should be called "Amazing Hair", because they did incredible things with that hair! I found myself wishing this movie had been around when I was a little curly headed girl, because they made me want to be her.
Beyond the sheer beauty of this movie, the story left much to be desired. There was no awesome Disney villain, no awesome Disney musical numbers, no awesome Disney explanation. They didn't make me care enough about what was happening.
It just so happens that my toddler fell asleep in my arms, which added to the Mommy/Daughter love, but that's kind of all there was story wise. I wish I'd had more Merida achievement or something.
