Great action but lacks character development

As many have mentioned, the movie lacks many aspects of the book (as I would expect). I do believe they could have done a better job providing background on the key characters. I applaud the film maker for making a film about the evils of fascism and the fascists disregard for human life. I was concerned about taking my 11 year old due to the violence described in the book. I heard that the blood and gore wasn't that bad which is why I decided to take him. It was a good decision as there was violence but nothing too bad to be disturbing for kids 10 and up.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Dark but Entertaining

HP series has continued to get darker and darker. This movie is definitely not for young kids. There were a lot of exciting parts and great special effects. There were a few amusing parts including the Weasley brothers and a dance scene with Harry and Hermione. There was also a great deal of death and destruction and examples of evil acts that could disturb children. I'll definitely go to next movie that wraps up the series as the movie was tremendously entertaining and worth seeing on the big screen.
