Everything about this movie works. The script is well written and prefect for the leads. Downey is perfect for the lead; he's got the right demeanor for the role, lovable, likable and pulls of the "super smart" thing really well. Paltrow is great too; their chemistry works and you want them to hook up. It's got tons of high-tech gadgetry, wonderful comic relief, (Downey has always had great comic timing), and a nice romantic story line as well. While much of it is far fetched, it is really believable the way it's done, remember, it is a comic book fantasy. Excellent production values, beautifully edited, and nicely shot. Seamless CGI work of the highest quality. The CGI for the iron suit is amazing. All in all, an extremely well done film. The story line is plausible and sets the stage for the Iron Man franchise. I'm sure there will be more. Go see it.
