I liked the movie, but as someone who has a great imagination they left out a lot of great parts from the book. They also changed up a lot on how the story progresses. There were some scary parts that could unnerve a younger child. There is also a part with some sexual undertones where a more developed child could pick up on. Overall it was a good movie which Ill buy once its released on DVD to keep up the collection but doubt ill spend money again to see it in the theater. If you really don't remember the book then you'll love the movie. If you've never read the books nor seen the movies, then you'll be confused.
