This movie did not feel like a "Potter" film, for it featured much more mature characters. No longer are Harry, Ron, and Hermione wizards in training, but now they are on the run for their lives, being able to trust no one. While the book was fantastic, the movie felt rushed and confusing, even for a fanatic like myself. Some may find it lively and thrilling due to the MANY action scenes, but others (myself included) would say that the film could have been done A LOT better. Having anticipated this film for many years, I was a little disappointed. However, I am so excited for the second part, for its familiarity to Hogwarts is reborn. Great action scenes, amazing cast (Alan Rickman and Helena Bonham Carter steal the show), and an overall OKAY adaption of the novel.
