Predictable, but in a good way

Girly, fun and sassy! I loved the book series and I felt that the movie was very well done and true to the intent of the book, which is just as fun and airy. This is a great female-oriented movie and I loved every moment of it. Although some of my gay male friends did not appreciate it in the same manner, I definitely felt that it was worth the matinee price. For someone who loves fashion, Patricia Field (stylist from SATC, The Devil Wears Prada and Ugly Betty) is the stylist of this movie and I LOVE the street mix blend of high fashion and vintage pieces.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Ok, but it is missing some depth

Positives: 1) Youthful movie with a multi-ethnic cast. 2) Fast paced. 3) Scenes with sensuality were tasteful and had appropriate chemistry between the actors.
Negatives: 1) The character and relationship development present in the book were missing. 2) Some key scenes and conversations from the book were truncated and if a viewer has NOT read the book, they may feel confused or lost. 3) Major overacting and questionable casting of actors.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
