I have been reading the series for the first time and at the time of going to see this movies I was only halfway through the sixth book. I went with my girlfriend who is a hardcore Harry Potter Fanatic and WB should have been nervous seeing her walk into this movie. Movies are made to draw in audiences and they don't need to explain every single aspect of the movie. Now that said there were things that I can see now that had gone unsaid. The movie was still intriguing from start to finish and stayed true to the plot of the book and it was great to see some of those elements in the book come to life. It will be sad to see the series come to a close but it will also be rewarding to those who have stuck with the series for so long.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
