I always like the book better, but this was quite faithful. I think there was only one omission I found troubling, the change in Harry's treatment of Kreacher (under Hermione's urging), and the transformation of Kreacher's character under the better treatment. That seems to me one of the necessary factors in Harry's (and Ron's) increasing maturity. At first I wondered at Voldemort's having eyes instead of the red slits of the "Goblet of Fire," but I imagine that the longer, more complicated scenes would have been next door to impossible in the "Goblet" makeup. I think that one would need to have read the earlier books to understand some of the emotional content of the movie - Hagrid, Dobby, and Lupin spring to mind. On the whole, though, a fine job. The acting was excellent.
