I came to this movie with a certain trepidation, since I'm not a big HP fan, and have not seen any of the last 3 movies. So I heard that there were alot of references to things in this film for which I would have no knowledge. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the film, did have a little trouble at some points figuring out what was going on, but found that the acting, storytelling, and film-making were all very good and engaging. So even for those who aren't die-hard fans, I think this is a very fine film.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
