I read book 7 when it came out, and forgot a lot of the details going in, so I enjoyed the film and was surprised at some of the information that was shared. The main opening scene (I won't spoil) was visually great and I thought better than explained in the book. Some of the middle was a slow, but that matches the long span of time from the book, and it's a good time for folks to take a potty break. Overall very good, looking forward to seeing how they wrap everything up in the summer!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
