I'll begin by stating I've never read a Potter book, but have seen all the movies! And of course, it is necessary to set/build the scene for the finale, but I thought this movie was a bit slow moving with lots of weighty, script-less scenes requiring the maturity of the young actors to fill. My movie buddy did miss "the what" and "the why" in this movie (i shared what i knew). I did enjoy seeing them all grown up and yet I found myself recalling their youth longingly. I did like the idea of even though Harry was the chosen one, he can't fulfill his destiny alone. Certainly entertaining and necessary to complete the Potter series/movies...waiting for finale part deut!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
