Excellent Movie

I thought that Deathly Hallows Part I was done very well and was amazingly faithful to the book. I saw the iMax version and loved the projection and sound.
However, there were too many scenes where all Harry (and even Hermione and Ron) seemed to do was sit and stare to show their angst. It slowed the movie down too much. I bet they could have either cut off about 10-15 minutes or used those minutes to give movie goers who hadn't read the book more insight into what was going on.
I have read the book twice, and even I had to referring mentally to the plot in the book to understand what was happening in some scenes. For example, my son, who has not read the book, didn't know what had happened the first few times that people disapparaited. Thirty seconds explaining this the first time it was used would have helped his understanding a lot.
Nevertheless, this is an excellent movie, and I will go see it again.
