First, this movie isn't well served by either its title or the trailer. There is more subtlety and nuance than you'd expect. Rudd's naivete isn't played as stupidity, but a kind of simplicity that makes him appealing, and allows us to see all the flaws of the people who surround him, like his 3 sisters. While he can seem like a bit of a dofus at the beginning, by the end we , because of him, what is off with everyone else, a lack of trust, superficiality, and a closed heart. A very affecting performance by Rudd and a movie that leaves you feeling good. How often does THAT happen:-)
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A lot of information about the early life of John Lennon that most of us know little of. The acting was very good and the story was compelling. I would see it again, which is among the more flattering things I can say about a film.
The movie was very enjoyable and visually stunning. You really felt you could reach out and touch the fish. I learned so much about the coral reef, the kind of fish that live there and how interdependent they are on each other. The one slight criticism is I thought the music seemed a little heavy handed, something lighter or none at all at different points would have been fine.
