Following the book very closely, this film did an exceptional job of showing how the main characters have matured into young adults and continue to deal not only with the dark arts but with the everyday challenges of making that journey - friendship, loyalty, support, facing fears, bravery and love. If there had to be a Part 1 and a Part 2 to the last book, Part 1 ended at the perfect place. While I can't wait for Part 2, I am really sad to see the Harry Potter saga end.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
