As a fan of Harry Potter since I was in first grade, I can knowledgeably say that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 was the best Harry Potter film yet. Throughout the entire movie, I was enraptured in the intensity of the film and plot. I was captured in a world of deception, power, fear, love, and death. A world I didn't want to leave. Directer David Yates perfectly captured the perils of the Wizarding World, and the attempts of the minority to save it.
From the scene where Nagini strikes, to the sad image of the death of a loved friend, (I don't want to spoil it for anyone!) to Ginny and Harry passionately kissing, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One keeps you anticipating the next twist in the story, while evoking viewers' emotion and empathy.
This film is WORTH SEEING.
Continued, but SPOILER ALERT: Finally, the different subplots perfectly round out the film. Ron and Hermione's blooming "mutual admiration"; Ginny and Harry's forbidden love; Lupin and Tonks' illegal matrimony; Harry, Ron and Hermione's quest for the Deathly Hallows. voldemort is played spectacularly. His long fingers slowly and tenderly wrapping themselves around the Elder Wand; carressing Nagini. HIs drawling tones, evoking terror in all, and haunting Harry's dreams.
