It was much funnier than I expected, and they stayed to the book enough for me to not get dorkily offended. There were a couple awkward moments that didn't make sense in the plot of the movie, but they didn't really take away from it. When it comes down to it, it's a Harry Potter movie. You're gonna love it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
