I'm so glad they decided to split the last book into two. The first part gives important details that are needed for the resolution for the second part, but not in a way that becomes boring. Interlaced with deep character driven interactions between the trio camping in the wilderness are action scenes and even a bit of humor. All the actors have seriously stepped up their game. Might seem a bit harder to follow for those who have not read the books, and it is not a complete story which may leave some feeling a bit unsatisfied, but as a fan of both the books and movies I found this movie to be the best so far.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
