Have to say honestly not the biggest fan of the series but the movie was actually pretty good. This was surprising to me as I had tried to read the novels and was only able to get through the first book. I remember Breaking Dawn in particular was beyond horrible and after what seemed like 92 chapters of Bella's nonstop whining, an entire town including a family of vampires catering to her every little wish, mixed with the confusing story lines that started and stopped with no rhyme or reason, and maybe with only 5 chapters left I finally just threw the book aside. The movie was able to tell the story clearly and without all the long drawn out drama unlike the book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
