Avatar's story is cliched, its main villain one dimensional, and some of the dialogue is laughably bad. And yet i haven't been this enthralled by a film in years. Its true, political undertones can be recognized, but they are just as easily ignored. At nearly 3 hours long, i was never bored and as the credits rolled I found myself disappointed there wasn't more to watch. Make no mistake: Avatar is a visual triumph. The tech may actually live up to its propaganda of changing cinema. This 3D is not about crazy objects popping out at you: its about depth. Depth that makes it less of a movie and more of an experience; a ride. See this movie, in 3D, and you will not be disappointed.
