I have been looking forward to this since the book first came out and I wasn't disappointed. This is a darker movie that those in the past so be warned that there are deaths and scary scenes.
This movie focuses mroe on the relationships between the 3 main characters than just on getting the magic done - we see the 3 struggling with hardships and bad moods and trying to get through as friends.
The action was great - the special effects were spectacular!
I saw the moveie in IMAX and plan to go back and see it again so I can catch more of the details.
