I was absolutely blown away by what I saw. Yes the plot is somewhat predictable, but the fact that humans have existed for thousands of years with over 2 millenia of recorded history, you're rarely going to develop plot with twists and turns that are TRULY novel.
That being said, Cameron outdid himself. The computer animation was seamless with the live cinematography. You can barely tell in a few action sequences, but visually and soundwise, this film is GROUNDBREAKING, IN A CLASS BY ITSELF.
RECS: You SHOULD see this in 3-D or you really miss out on the experience and it is WELL WORTH THE EXTRA PRICE OF ADMISSION. THIS MOVIE IS THE REASON WHY YOU SEE SOME MOVIES AT THE THEATRE. Breathlessly beautiful.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
