A great start to the end

I am a huge Harry Potter fan and can admit to having doubts that this movie would impress me at all, as I've taken many issues with many of the Potter movies in the past in terms of the interpretation and adaptation to the screen from novel form. However, Deathly Hallows part one was more than I expected it to be.
It had me laughing, close to tears, and when it was over it felt like I had barely sat down. I was ready for another two hours of film to finish it off right then.

I think this is a great start to the last film in the series, and can't wait for the second part. I haven't been this excited for a Potter-related event since the Deathly Hallows book came out three years ago.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
