I've read all the books and loved them so I was really worried that the movie would leave out lots of important things, as so many books to movies do and essentially lose the story, but I was really surprised. The movie was almost exactly like the book and was exactly like I thought it would be. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone..it was great.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
