Fun time, good message

This movie was great! Took my 8 year old stepdaughter to see it on Saturday and we were thrilled with it. I loved the characters and their interactions with each other. It was especially wonderful to see the relationship between the main character and his father. This was not the typical abusive/absent Hollywood dad. This guy really cared about his son, but had communication problems. Their reconciliation was a wonderful cap to a fun movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
