Of course the movie cannot encompass all the details of the book, but no book fan should go into a cinema expecting that! Overall, the movie was very exciting and the kids I brought with me left saying "I want to see the second one NOW!". *(Going into it, I was a little worried about the long stretches of tent sleeping in the book.)
I was suprised at the humorous parts in the movie because (sorry, UK) movies like the English Patient had me convinced that British humor was lacking.
Also, Harry really likes to take off his shirt a lot. By the way, clearly no airbrushing, waxing or spray tans were in the mix for harry Harry.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
