This movie was the most faithful to the book. However, there were parts that I didn't think would make as much sense or have much meaning for those who haven't read the books (of course, everyone should read them!). There were many scenes that I wanted to see that they left out, but it's understandable that they couldn't everything in even with 2 parts. Overall, the acting was much better in this one, too.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
