This is a really great movie. Geoffrey Rush and Colin Furth should both win Oscars. It is reminiscent of The Queen in some respects, and it is at least as good as that movie, if not better. There is humor amongst the real life story and we get to see the personality of King George VI. Colin Furth IS King George VI, according to all accounts, and it really takes one back to an era. But Geofrey Rush's character is amazing as the speech therapist, with humor and humility he becomes the friend of the king. All of the characters are exremely well-described, distinct and the script is amazing. It should win a screenplay Oscar if not also Best Picture. Go and see it, even if you are not an Anglophile!
