Not as depressing as I thought it would be

I saw this movie last night with my husband. I wanted to go see a romantic comedy or something light, but he really wanted to see this. I have no regrets. This is a really really good movie. Hilary Swank transformed herself into a very believable Southern woman who is overwhelmed with her life, but focused on proving her brother is innocent. Minnie Driver is adorable. Sam Rockwell is brilliant and believable. If there were not based on a true story, I'm not sure I could totally "buy" the whole story, but it was and it is truly amazing and worth seeing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
