Great Movie

I, being an avid Harry Potter fan, have read each of the books many times. The seventh one is definitely my favorite because it is so action-packed and exciting. I saw this movie on Thursday at midnight, and I was scared that it wouldn't be very good. I have been very disappointed with Harry Potter movies in the past, and since this one is such a big deal I didn't want to be let down. It turned out I had nothing to worry about. Many people may tell you that it felt rushed and the editing was choppy, but I think you would be hard pressed to make this book into a better movie. So much happens in this book that they could not keep it all, and I don't know if you could find anyone who would tell you that there was much in the movie that could be removed... and it was 2 1/2 hours long! There were a few moments from the book that I thought should have been in the movie because they were more insightful and symbolic, but overall it was a great experience. I do think that someone who has read the books might get more satisfaction out of it than someone who hasn't, however. I definitely plan on seeing it at least twice more before it leaves theaters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
