Terrible For (Some) Kids

We're third generation race horse people so I was very excited to see and support this movie. Have rarely been as embarrassed for Disney. Trys to give a positive message and garbles more than one message about being a housewife and loyalty to dreams and family. On top of that, the ending might as well have been filmed by Trinity Broadcast Christian Network. I was heartbroken that the ending of the movie was so Christian based when it had NOTHING to do with the plot. Took my jewish neighbors children and felt like I had betrayed them. Perhaps Disney is catering to the Christian's in America as a money-maker but at least put in a disclaimer to give token respect to other religious beliefs. Please skip this movie and rent Dreamer - same wonderful horse story, beautiful music and scenery, easy to follow values and less religious hype stuffed in at the end. Let's hope somebody does an honest remake of this wonderful story that is worth paying money to see.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
