I have seen "The Future" and it works

I saw "Back to the Future" when it was first released, and again only yesterday. Believe me, few movies hold up over time as well as this one. It is still by turns funny and charming and always just plain fun. The crowd who came for the 25th anniversary showing -- most of them half my age or less -- laughed in all the right places, did not talk back to the screen, and in general treated it like a new release. Picture and sound quality were both excellent, and even those who are too young to even remember Ronald Reagan still got the joke. The movie reminds of how much we have lost with Michael J. Fox's illness, and Christopher Lloyd could give a lesson to almost every TV sitcom actor in how to make shameless overacting actually work. On first release this looked like a pretty good movie. On re-release it looks like a great one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
