Great effects, same old story

IMAX 3D technology is fantastic. The visuals were beautiful, breathtaking and stunning (& it doesn't give you a headache, as some old 3D systems did). However, the story is the same old plot line. Advanced culture moves in, attempts to overcome the wise earth-loving indigenous population. The advanced culture wants to steal their land/water/technology/minerals/air, etc. Throw in a love story between a native and an advance culter-er. Any more will be a spoiler.
Go for the effects, go for the soundtrack and the beautiful pictures. Don't go for the story.
