True to the book

My husband and I could not wait to see this film. As a teenager I read the book, then saw the John Wayne version. I must say I loved both of these movies. But the Jeff Bridges version is more true to the book. The characters look like they were written. Some say Matt Damon was mis-cast. If you read the book you know he was right on. I am so glad that there is this version. I am looking forward to seeing it at home. But so glad I saw it on the big screen. Oh and Barry Pepper and Josh Brolin are outstanding as is the young girl playing Matty
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Takes me back in Time

Great to finally see it on the big screen. I was having babies at the time this was released and never got to see it big. It has been a favorite of mine over the years. Seeing it big reminded me just how much one can miss by watching a movie at home. I must say part of the enjoyment was the crowd there. They came to see the movie.They clapped and cheered but remembered why they were there.The cast was great the quality of the film was wonderful. Catch this if you can
