Decent horror spoof

For those of you who enjoy films such as drag me to hell and Shaun of the dead, then you will like this film. After watching the trailer I thought I was goin to see a scary movie but instead it was kind of a bad comedy. The acting was pretty good. Also, there was no "twist" in the movie. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I rented it but after seeing it in the theater, I felt ripped off.

American Reunion is the weakest of the four movies. This movie had so much potential but lacks a good plot. It was too long and boring at times. All of the funny parts can be seen in the trailers. I would recommend renting it.

A Little Disappointed

First, I just want to say that I have read all three books and enjoyed them, however, the movie was just ok for me. The acting was great but I would have liked to have seen more of the relationship between katniss and Gayle/Peeta. Overall, the movie was good but not great. It just didn't have the same heart as the book and at times, felt rushed.

Refreshing!

Chronicle is an excellent superhero film that revitalizes the found footage genre. The camera work is interesting but some scenes tend to stick out as being too forced. However, its difficult to provide the audience with different point of views in found footage films. The character development was excellent and I found that by the end of the film, I actually cared about each of the three main characters. Given its small budget, the CGI looks good and excels in many scenes. Chronicle is an excellent movie that is original and down to earth.

A Powerful Adventure

If you are expecting this to be a fast paced action movie similar to Taken, then you are going to be disappointed and I recommend you see a different film. The Grey has amazing cinematography, character development, and a great score. This is not your typical/cliche Hollywood movie. It's original and makes you think. *If you are wiling to give this film a shot, be sure to stay until after the credits for an extra short scene!

Disappointing

This film could have been great but its underdeveloped characters, mediocre score, and convoluted plot held it back. This movie tries to be clever and better than it is.

Worst of the Trilogy

Paranormal Activity 3 fails to deliver the thrills and tension that made the first two so entertaining. Predictable scares along with tedious camera work make this film a rental at best. The movie abruptly ends just as the film starts to get interesting. For such a hyped up ending it left me scratching my head as I turned toward my friend and we both said, in unision, "That's it?!"

They don't make them like this anymore

Bloody violence, great soundtrack, and excellent acting. The movie's pacing is slow but rewarding. This isn't some mindless action flick. THE best movie of 2011, so far.

SAVE YOUR MONEY

This might be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The dialogue is cheesy and feels forced. The acting was terrible. There was no plot. The special effects, although good, were unable to save the movie from being so atrocious. Skip it or rent it if you really want to see a mindless boring movie. I started to fall asleep! oh and your welcome for saving you the money you would of wasting on this garbage.

Don't expect a lot of Action

After reading reviews and watching the trailer, I had high expectations for this movie. It was good but it could have been great. Don't go see it if you are expecting a lot of action and excitement. The movie was kind of boring. However, the acting was excellent.
