I believe this was a good movie that solidified the relationships between the crew members. I am already looking forward to the next movie. There were great visual effects and action throughout the movie. I believe the overall meaning of the movie was to give you a back story of one of Kirk's nemesis and to introduce Dr. Markus. The ending gives speculation that another movie is coming. There is one point toward the end where roles were reversed from an earlier Star Trek movie and at that point I figured out the remaining plot which was a little disappointing, but still managed to have a great action ending.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I think this movie was good, but not as good as I thought it would be based on the previews. There is a twist, but once it's revealed, the movie becomes flat. I do not think there is enough action throughout the movie to keep the viewer engaged.
