If you are looking for a fun time at the movies, this is it. Of course, you can see the ending comimg from a mile away, but that doesn't make it any less entertaining. There was plenty of laughter in the theater. After all, that is what you want from a comedy.
I am glad I don't pay any attention to professional movie reviewers. If I did, I would miss out on a lot of enjoyable movies such as Couples Retreat. My entire family spent a lot of time laughing. Maybe we are easily amused. The other people in the theater were laughing also. Is it mindless? Maybe. The important thing is that I had a good time at the movies. My husband even wants to see it again.
Wonderful movie. Good plot with enough suspense to keep my attention. I figured out the twist before it happened, but that didn't reduce my enjoyment of the movie. My husband wasn't sure he would like the movie, but he did. I would recommend this movie over the so called Blockbusters. The characters were interesting and I screamed a couple of times and cringed a few. A good date movie.
We went to see this movie without knowing exactly what it was about. I was confused at first, but slowly began to see what was going on. I laughed. I cried. A very moving story about redemption and the purpose of our lives. Plan on taking a friend to see it.
Don't listen to the critics. This movie was as much fun as the trailers made it look. I took my 18 year old son to see this movie because it looked like it would be funny and I was not disappointed. If you are looking for a cerebral experience, this is not it. But, if you are looking for a good laugh, see this movie. Reese and Vince click and make a believable couple. Looking forward to the dvd.
This movie was panned by the reviewer of my local paper, a man. I am glad I saw it anyway. I don't think many men would get this movie. I was impressed by the lack of men. The women around me in the theater, laughed, cried and cheered. It is that type of movie. I know there were some cliches, but is there any movie that doesn't use some of the tried and true? Loved it.
I took my 5 year old grandson at his request. I had no interest in seeing this movie, but was pleasantly surprised that I liked it. A lot of it was over the head of a five year old, but my grandson enjoyed it. As with most cartoons these days, there is a message here. In fact, there is more than one message to be learned. I would recommend this movie. It was delightful.
Good thriller. Too many women to try and keep names straight. I had to overlook no police being around at a campus where a bomb threat had been called in.
