It's a 2.5 hour long movie, but it only feels like 30 minutes because it's very intriguing. I love it, it stayed true to the book, and I can't wait for Part 2!
The only bad thing is that I get a little bored with the search, like Ron did in the movie. But that's how the story goes in the book, so I'm totally ok with that.
I knew it wasn't going to be a movie with spontaneous storyline or plot, but I was disappointed with the dancing part. Compared to Step Up 1 & 2, the dance moves doesn't seem hard or exciting. The main characters (Luke & Natalie) aren't even good dancers, and their opponents are actually better dancers than they are. I was expecting so much more from the main characters...
