George Makes a Gun...

This movie is devoid of emotion--any emotion. Is confusion an emotion? It will elicit no emotion in you , either. Was sound even necessary? I know there was no script! I have a few questions: -was that a butterfly tatoo on his back? It was so smeary. -was this just about his putting together a gun? Why? -were there only 3 townspeople in the village? -if the girl liked him so much, why couldn't she remember 'their' meeting place? What was the point of her friend saying 'hi'? --how could she like him when he didn't say 3 words to her and kissed her like he was trying to prove he's not gay--is he? -who shot the lady on the roof? -who was the blond guy he killed? Why? Why does it seem like watching a loop of the previews would be 100% more interesting than sitting through this? Just one mean comment: George looks so darn dorky in this movie, see if you agree that in the final scene (when he's driving in the car) he looks like he's 'straining at stool...' (Sounds crude, but if/when you see it, you're going to chuckle to yourself thinking of it.) I wish I hadn't seen this movie. I'll never think of George the same way. He should stick to comedy, smirking, posing; just NOT trying to act.
The Expendables could easily have been titled The Imbeciles. After a few minutes into the film I thought it was a spoof on action/adventure films; some kind of geriatric action adventure. Very boring plot, one-syllable-word dialog, cheesy special effects, poor acting. Sly looks old/effeminate, Bruce and Arnie are on the screen for less than 2 minutes--they just stand there smirking and say a few forgettable lines, with a few 'bad' words (oooo, I'm scared...). When you're just about to fall asleep or burst out laughing from the juvenile script, silly graphics, and feigned emotions, the music gets really loud--wake up! Don't go see this movie. Let them save face. Show some respect for the memory of these once-incredible actors, and see a different movie.
