You will be really entertained for most of the 2 hours you are watching it. If you were a video game geek in the 80s, you will really enjoy the entire look of this movie. And the same with early Japanimee cartoons such as Voltron.
The creativity is amazing, but after 2 hours of the same fight scene, it got a little tired to me. It's basically Mortal Combat, combined with Atari games, with anime fight scenes.
I think this is more of a rent, not spend $10 at the theater. I enjoyed Juno, and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist much more for the enjoyment and story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
