Maybe you want to wait for the DVD

Before seeing this movie, I had read several reviews, and heard it reviewed on the radio. I've also read the book. The movie was OK. It felt more like "what I did on my summer vacation" than the transformative experience chronicled in the book. All of the interesting information that I learned from Liz's experiences in the book just weren't present in the movie. That said, it wasn't a bad movie, but I don't think it was worth the ticket price. Just rent it when it comes out on DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
