I would have to agree with this review...

"As inspiring and lovely as Elizabeth Gilbert's "Eat Pray Love" was to read, the movie seemed shallow and a little careless. The constant barrage of stunning glances and smiles - and the occasional tear - by Julia Roberts - cannot replace the thoughtful insights Gilbert and her companions offer in the book. It is beautifully shot though" I left the theatre wanting more, and like another reader said "I had to go back to the book to fill in the blanks left by the movie" and I've only read 1/3 of the book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
