"The Expendables" was high action from opening scene to closing credits. The few scenes where blood and adrenaline did not take center stage were relevant and moved the plot quickly. The actors were in their elements, on-screen chemistry was high, and few plot twists were predictable. There are no major downers to detract from the pure pleasure of a boom-fest. Arnie was unfortunately only around for a brief single scene but it was a good one, ending on a great gag. I'd recommend this to anyone who's even a minor Action fan and I intend to buy it when it comes out on disk.
